UNLV Connections: Word from the Interactive Measurement Group

Issue 1: September 2016

The mission of the UNLV Interactive Measurement Group is to help lab members achieve their educational and career goals. This mission does not end when a lab member graduates. Therefore, we have launched Connections: Word from the Interactive Measurement Group to help create a supportive community connecting current and former lab members. This newsletter is a tool to help lab members network: reuniting people who used to work together and introducing people whose time in the lab did not overlap but who nonetheless have much in common. Each issue will include personal stories of successes and mishaps, as well as advice and insights that you can apply to your professional and personal life. I hope you enjoy this first issue of our newsletter.

In their book, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, Gottman and Silver call these behaviors the Four Horsemen because they foretell the end of a marriage. Read how Jenya Verenikina helps clients change these behaviors in her work as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Getting Unstuck
