New Additions to the Lab

Yuhan Bi Received OUMP Award

Each semester, the Outreach Undergraduate Mentoring Program (OUMP) awards one participant with the Promising Novice Researcher Mentee Award. In Spring 2023, Yuhan Bi was presented with this award. Congratulations, Yuhan! Join us as we learn more about Yuhan’s experience in the OUMP.

One Step Closer

Each semester, our lab members are excelling in a multitude of ways, bringing themselves one step closer to reaching their goals.

Free Writing

Free writing requires one to write continuously for a set period of time, usually 15 minutes. Kim shares how free writing helps her generate creative new ideas and move forward on projects where she was previously stuck.

Collaboration is Easier Online

When collaborating on a project, Cassandra used to assume in-person meetings were best. However, when she compared her online and in-person meetings, she identified several reasons that online meetings are often more productive.
