LaShawn TithIssue 17: Spring 2022

LaShawn (Shawn) Tith has been a member of the Interactive Measurement Group since fall of 2020. Shawn is a first-generation college student who has just completed a double major in psychology and criminal justice. For the last year and a half, he also served as a member of the College of Liberal Arts Dean Student Advisory Council (DSAC), acting as a liaison between students and faculty. During his time with DSAC, he helped organize several events to help students excel in and out of university. He also hosted a mental health panel, served as a panelist at a Surviving and Thriving College event, and helped facilitate a fund-raising event for underserved students. These experiences enabled him to gain valuable leadership skills and become more connected with his community.
