UNLV Connections: Word from the Interactive Measurement Group

Daniela, a woman with curly dark hair, wearing UNLV graduation regalia and standing in from of the Thomas and Mack Center. Daniela Alverez joined the Interactive Measurement Group in Summer 2022. Since then, Daniela has co-authored two research posters that were presented at the UNLV OUR Symposium, trained others on how to use Microsoft Office programs, and led several hour-long workshops. Additionally, she has served as our Website Coordinator and as an Action Editor for Connections.

In Spring 2023, Daniela graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She plans to use the skills she has learned in the Interactive Measurement Group to pursue a master’s degree in Couple and Family Therapy to provide mental health care to underrepresented communities and advocate for the destigmatization of psychological treatment.
