Rocky Mountain Psychological Association 2023

Teaching Climate Change during Statistics and Research Methods PosterThis spring, Luke Reyes presented two posters on behalf of our lab at the 2023 Rocky Mountain Psychological Association conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The first of these posters shows that people who are more anxious about climate change are likely to take more frequent actions to try to reduce climate change. For example, they are more likely to conserve energy and water, make climate-friendly food choices and purchasing choices, and use climate-friendly transportation options. The second poster shared resources that instructors can use to teach climate change during statistics and research methods courses. These resources include 10 introductory statistics assignments that use a dataset with 500 United Stated Mturk workers. Both posters were well-received. Thank you, Luke, for sharing our research, and congratulations to all authors!
